Under the direction of the Child Nutrition Director, the Summer Food Coordinator will oversee our Summer Grab N' Go Food Programs during our summer season. This position involves assisting, planning, preparing, and coordinating meals and activities pertaining to our general operations for SFSP Grab N' Go meal sites. They will keep a clean and safe environment, stay current with state and government policies and regulations, gather needed papers for reporting meals. Ideal candidates are efficient and keep good relationships with all staff, vendors, members, volunteers and participants. Provides quality experience to everyone involved that focuses on the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. Other duties assigned by director.
This position is seasonal and will begin between Mar. 24-April 14 with limited hours. Part time hours will continue through May 15 and increase to 25-40 hours/wk as school ends. In August, the hours slowly reduce until summer reporting is complete.
