Under the direction of the Child Nutrition Director, the Kitchen Assistant will stock, prepare, and serve all food and beverage items and maintain quality food according to state regulations. Maintain a clean kitchen and a good relationship with the teachers, assistants, and other YMCA staff members. Provides quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
This position will average 4-5.5 hours per day, M-F. The hours are generally between 7:45am-2:30pm with a break built in each day.
